The stay included a beautiful Beautiful Room with a large bathroom and comfortable bed, along with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast featured freshly prepared eggs which were good. Unfortunately, the balcony overlooked a housing estate, limiting privacy . Dining in the bar was enjoyable, but the lack of a more appealing balcony view dulled the experience. Check-in and check-out were very smooth, with friendly staff throughout.

Excellent staff, nice rooms, clean, good breakfast, the Lilac Spa (which is on the premesis) was wonderful, and the hotel bar was great as well!
The only problem we had at the hotel was that unless you wanted to walk for 20 min to town you had to take a taxi which would cost about 6-7 euro a ride. When we did get downtown we saw a ton of other hotels that, for our needs (bars), would have suited us better. But if you are looking for a nice country getaway and spa, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

The food in the bar was really nice, very fast service and the bar staff were really nice.
The staff in the spa were not very friendly or helpful, the changing rooms were untidy looking, towels were pretty worn, the pool was very cold and the jacuzzi was not working. On check in the girl at reception was not very friendly or welcoming.

The hotel of choice in Kilkenny. Sophisticated place, fairly clean, good value. Suite with a balcony, extra camp bed and the bathroom to be cleaned. Great and lovely location, at a moderate distance from St Canices Cathedral and Round Tower. Really enjoyed shopping area.
Not ideal views; extremely limited breakfast.

Clean modern surruondings. Error in room service was accepted and food was later provided free of charge due to error responsibility being accepted by hotel.
Mix up with room service was annoying.

The hotel has a cute atmosphere with eclectic decor, and our triple room was spacious and clean. The leisure facilities are fantastic, including a 20m pool and gym. The bar area really came alive with amazing musical acts! The staff at dinner were lovely and made our evening enjoyable.

The staff were nice
Rooms were poorly cleaned and dated. Lime on tiles in the bathroom and it was old. Carpet in the room was filthy. Bad paint and plaster work. Food wasnt great in the bar. Breakfast was nice but we waited 40 minutes for it after being seated. I specifically asked for a double bed and I got twin beds. There was also a huge hole in the side of my mattress.
